8-Player Padel Americano Schedule: Seven Rounds

Download an eight-player Americano CSV for two courts. Seven fixed rounds, every partner once, with a points example and checks before your social event.

Quick answer

For eight players on two courts, this fixed Americano draw has seven rounds and fourteen matches. Each player plays every round and partners each other player once. Download the CSV, replace numbers 1–8 with names, and agree scoring and tie rules before starting. This is an original social-event schedule, not an official competition regulation.

Assign numbers before the warm-up

Use one numbered list for the entire event: 1 Alex, 2 Beth, 3 Chris, 4 Dev, 5 Erin, 6 Finn, 7 Gail and 8 Hari are fictional example names. Print or save that list beside the draw. Replacing a name halfway through without recording it makes the totals hard to audit.

The CSV contains fourteen match rows. Each round has two courts and all eight numbers appear exactly once. The partner combinations have been checked so that all twenty-eight possible pairs occur once. The schedule does not claim equal time on each physical court or equal playing strength.

Read one row as a complete court assignment

Round one puts 1 and 2 against 3 and 4 on court one, and 5 and 6 against 7 and 8 on court two. Finish both matches before moving the whole group to round two. Do not redraw partners from the current leaderboard: that would change this fixed event into a different format.

Choose a scoring convention and write it down

One workable house convention is sixteen total rally points per match. A 10–6 result gives each member of the first pair ten event points and each member of the other pair six. It does not give the winning pair sixteen each. Write the result on the match row before adding individual totals.

An 8–8 round is possible under this convention. Decide before the event whether it remains a draw, and agree how equal final totals will be resolved. Service changes and the event ranking system should also be written down. This guide supplies a draw, not a universal Americano rulebook.

Check court time without promising a fixed duration

There are seven rounds, but the CSV does not predict how many minutes they will take. Choose a start time, a changeover allowance and a finish procedure that fit the booking. If you use a timer rather than a fixed point total, explain how an unfinished rally and unequal points played will be treated.

For a small organiser check, ask each player to find their next partner before the event begins. After each round, read both court results back to the group. A missing score is easier to resolve immediately than after several partner changes.

Keep the draw separate from scoring a round

Use the spreadsheet for assignments and individual event totals. Padel Pointer can record a round on Apple Watch and keep match history on iPhone; this resource does not claim the app generates the draw or manages an event leaderboard. The CSV is a standalone download, not an app import file.

Frequently asked questions

Does everyone partner everyone else?

Yes. In this checked draw each of the eight players has seven different partners across seven rounds.

Can this work on one court?

The matches can run sequentially, but four people then wait each time. The published round layout assumes two courts operating together.

Is sixteen points compulsory?

No. Sixteen total points is an explicitly chosen example. The organiser must agree the event format before play.
