Free Printable Padel Match Score Sheet

Download a free A4 padel score sheet with a completed example. Record pairs, scoring format, set results and a deciding tie-break without mixing the totals.

Quick answer

A useful padel score sheet records the four players, the agreed format, each pair's set scores and any deciding match tie-break separately. Download our two-page PDF: page one is blank for printing; page two shows a completed fictional match. It is a match log, not an official tournament results form or a point-by-point umpire sheet.

Download the sheet before your match

The PDF contains one blank A4 sheet and one completed example. Print only page one when you want copies for several matches. Keep the example on your phone if you want a reference without printing another page.

The design uses dark text and thin rules so the blank sheet remains practical on a black-and-white printer. Leave the player's names as initials if you plan to share a photographed result publicly. You do not need an email address or account to download it.

Write the format before writing the result

Use the top of the sheet to record both pairs and the scoring agreement. In particular, say whether the deciding stage is a full third set or a match tie-break. A number on its own cannot reliably tell a future reader which format you played.

The sheet separates set results from the deciding match tie-break. It also provides a notes line for a timed or unfinished session. This avoids making an abandoned booking look like a completed match simply because one pair was ahead.

  • Keep Pair A and Pair B on the same rows throughout the sheet.
  • Write a match tie-break in its own field, not as a ten-game set.
  • Record an unfinished session as unfinished, with the score reached.

A completed fictional example

Suppose Alex and Sam play Jo and Lee. They agree a deciding match tie-break instead of a full third set. Pair A wins the first set 6–4, Pair B wins the second 6–3, and Pair A takes the deciding match tie-break 10–8.

The record below keeps Pair A first in every row. That means the second set is written 3–6, even though Pair B won it. Changing the order to put the winner first in every set makes the overall result difficult to read.

Do not add unlike scoring units

In the example, the deciding stage contains points while the two earlier rows contain games. Adding all three rows into a single total would combine different units. Instead, retain the set-by-set result and the separately labelled deciding score.

If an ordinary set reaches a set tie-break, record the set result in its set row and put the tie-break points in the optional notes. Keep that event separate from the match tie-break field, which is reserved for a decider replacing a set.

The sheet follows the scoring categories in the FIP rules. It is our own printable layout, not a federation-issued form, a match certification or evidence of who won a disputed point.

Keep a digital history as well

A paper sheet is useful for a shared courtside record. For your own history, Padel Pointer supports scoring on Apple Watch and reviewing matches on iPhone. Keep the agreed format and the final result consistent whichever method you choose.

Before leaving the court, have both pairs read the result in the same order. Photograph the sheet for your own records if useful, and record only the details everyone has agreed. A neatly filled form cannot resolve a score that was never confirmed.
